We just received an amazing order of Beatriz Ball hand cast aluminum pieces!! Just in time for gift giving and for sprucing up your holiday table...

Beatriz Ball pieces are made entirely by hand, one at a time, using the ancient art of sand casting: pouring a premium quality alloy of molten aluminum into sand molds, and then going through four levels of polishing. All of these unique and beautiful pieces are easy care, they never tarnish, and they are freezer to oven friendly.

And another fabulous book shelf! You could set your flat screen TV in one of the areas...just adjust the shelves!

We also received some amazing solid wood, American made, chests....Each piece comes with a documented detailing of where the recycled wood came from. A true heirloom piece!

Christmas Open House 2010.....

I thought I would post some pictures before we opened our doors on Friday for the Christmas Open house.....

I want to thank first of all, my amazing family....my Mom Frasha, my aunt Rita and Shenia...they still are a driving force behind my Open Houses....all the baking and washing coffee cups and wine glasses.....and vacuuming and cleaning...chatting with customers...exchanging recipes and knitting patterns....they help to make the shop what it is...always welcoming....

My daughters Kelli and Stacey are such a huge help to me....always there....whether I am cheerful or cranky, they still hang in there with me. I love all of you guys so much!!

I couldn't have "pulled off" another open house without my "extended family"...Maria, Harriet, and Petra. Thanks for hours of work and a never ending ability to help me solve problems...I love you guys like family....and a special thank you to Les Fobes for helping out too!

Now, with that being said... Thank you to all of my customers that attended the open house. So many of you have been with me from the first open house about twenty years ago!! And it is always wonderful to meet new customers that are here for the first time!
